He teaches at the University of Paris II Panthéon-Assas (International and European Environmental Law, Investment Arbitration and International Commercial Arbitration, Law of International Contracts, Private International Law).

Following his Master degree and his PhD in private international law and international business law at the University of La Sorbonne (Paris I), where he taught as Associate Professor, he has published extensively in his main fields of research.

In particular, he is the co-author of a book dedicated to the Law of international contracts (Droit des contrats internationaux, Sirey, 2017, 742 p.). Pr. Laazouzi is also in charge of the quarterly chronicle on the subject in a leading French law review (Revue des contrats) and he holds the yearly chronicle on “Investment Arbitration” in the Revue de l’arbitrage.

Part of his work has focused on the interaction between environmental issues and investment arbitration. He has been invited to speak in several universities in France and abroad and to participate in numerous international conferences.

Pr. Laazouzi is a member of the French Committee on Private International Law, the French Committee on arbitration, and a member of Trans Europe Experts. He is also a member of the Board of Directors, the Executive Board and the Selection Committee of the International Academy for Arbitration Law (Arbitration Academy).

He often drafts legal opinions in international arbitration proceedings under ICSID and UNCITRAL Rules but also in arbitration-related proceedings before French courts. Considered as an expert in these fields, he is the author of several books and numerous articles on these subjects. He is a columnist for several law journals. One of the columns is related to financial European and international law.

He also heads the Intellectual Property Research Institute (IRPI) of Paris (Paris Chamber of Commerce).

He has been visiting professor in these matters at numerous universities: Montréal (Canada), Casablanca (Marroco), Bahrein, Budapest (ELTE), München (LMU and Max-Planck Institute), Tokyo (Toddaï) and Moscow (MGU), Saint Petersburg, OAPI (Yaoundé), etc.

He is the author of more than 220 publications in intellectual property law, competition law, pharmaceutical and biotechnology law. He recently published several books in particular with Pr. Jacques Azema “Droit de la propriété industrielle” (Collection “Précis”, Dalloz, 1 100 pages, 7th ed. 2012), which is the leading adademic book in this field.

He has been an adviser to the European Commission, UNESCO and OECD for IP matters, a member of the European Ethic Committee for the European Federation of Biotech Industries (EUROPABIO) in Brussels (1999-2003) and of several academic boards among others Max Planck’s MIPLC (Munich).

He practices intellectual property matters as a member of Paris bar since 1984, mediator and arbitrator.

Antoine Gaudemet is a professor of Law at the University Paris 2 Panthéon-Assas. A graduate in Law and Economics he earned his PhD from the Panthéon-Assas University in 2008 and passed the Aggregation of Law in 2009. Prior to joining Panthéon-Assas, he was a professor in Rennes. Professor Gaudemet teaches French and European corporate, financial, banking and securities law.

His current research work focuses on financial regulation, systemic risk, recovery of financial institutions, and market abuses. He is consulted on a regular basis by the French Treasury and was a member of the French delegation in charge of negotiating the Unidroit close-out netting core principles in 2013.

He is the author of The Law on Financial Derivatives (2010) which was awarded several prizes : Oscar du Droit des Sociétés et de la Bourse, Prix de l‘Association Européenne de Droit Bancaire et Financier, Prix Albert Wahl de la Chancellerie des Universités, Prix de l’Université Panthéon-Assas.

He regularly publishes articles relating to corporate, financial, banking, and securities law in both French and international reviews. Her other fields of interest include arbitration law and private international law, and their interaction with competition law.

She is also co-director of the monthly reviewEurope(1991), director of the scientific committee of the review Concurrences (2004), and a member of advisory boards of several reviews, such the Common Market Law Review. She has an active role in many academic associations and is the President of the French Association on Competition Law (AFEC) as well as one of the French NGA for the ICN. These last five years, she has devoted quite a few articles as well as a book (Bruylant, 2004) to European competition reform. Mrs. Idot has also experience as a practitioner, a consultant, and an arbitrator.

She then becamean Associate Professor at Paris I. She passed the agrégation in 2013 and taught for six years at the University of Strasbourg before joining the University of Paris.

She has been invited to teach in different universities abroad (Kansai University and Doshisha (Japan), High School of Economics (Moscow), Bucarest (Rumania), Universidad del Salvador (Buenos Aires) and at the Academy of International Law (The Hague) and to participate to international conferences. She speaks fluently French, English and Spanish.

Caroline Kleiner is the author of numerous publications in international banking and financial law as well as international litigation. She comments annually the Monetary and Financial Code (1st book).

Pr. Kleiner is a member ofthe French Society of International Law (where she seats at the Academic Board), the French Committee on Private International Law, the French AssociationforArbitration, the European Society for Banking and Financial Law and the International Academy of Comparative Law.
